Short version: MV Converter processes everything locally on your Mac. We do not upload your video files. We do not track your usage.

1. Data we do not collect

MV Converter does not collect, transmit, or store:

All video conversion happens on your device. Source files stay on your Mac; output files go where you tell them to.

2. Data we do collect (and why)

Subscription status. Through Apple's StoreKit, the App checks whether you hold a valid Premium subscription. This check is device-local and Apple-mediated; we receive no personal data.

Crash reports (optional). If you opt in via macOS system preferences, anonymous crash reports may be shared with us by Apple. These contain no personally identifiable information.

Support emails. When you contact us at contact@mvconverter.app, we keep your message and reply for the duration needed to resolve your request.

3. Website analytics

The mvconverter.app website uses privacy-respecting analytics that do not set tracking cookies and do not record personally identifiable information. We track aggregate page views and referrer sources only.

4. Third parties

The App uses Apple's frameworks (StoreKit, Foundation, AVFoundation, CoreMedia, Metal). It does not include third-party SDKs that collect data about you.

5. Your rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data file to request or delete. For subscription-related matters, please contact Apple Support.

6. Children

MV Converter is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect any data, and the App does not include third-party advertising or external links targeted at children.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated in the App and on this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
